Your impact:

As the Senior Solution Engineer, you’ll educate customers on the value of Amity solutions and advocate for customer interest to relevant internal teams, and remove technical and business-related obstacles on the front end.

Location: London, United Kingdom or Italy, Milan (Amity offers flexible working policy combining 1 week a month of mandatory presence in our office and the rest of the month flexible "work from wherever you feel the most productive" policy).

Your team:

Our Professional Services team's goal is to design and implement the right system that balances between product capability and customer requirements. We foster innovative solutions that push the limit of our product to meet customer expectations. We love making things work for our customers - however, there will be times when we need to negotiate and find the best win-win alternatives that would allow us to overcome obstacles. We emphasize research, collaboration, and proper technical design over plain coding. We believe a high-quality system starts from proper preparation and thorough architectural design. We love ideation, brainstorming, and love new technologies, we love to try them but the most important is the suitability of those technologies for our development.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Support Professional Services teams by articulating Amity’s products, positioning them to both business and technical audiences, and architecting the integration design.
  • Gather business requirements to do man-day and total cost estimation for project development.
  • Work closely with sales team in regards to technical proposals and pitches to enterprise customers
  • Put together technical cases (diagram, RFP, and proposals) for the sales teams to support their proposals
  • Work closely and collaboratively with customers, provide technical solutions to solve client use cases and problems.
  • Provide consultation to the customers on product best practices and use cases
  • Ensure that the company’s services can meet the customer’s requirements
  • Initiate, coordinate, and implement proofs-of-concept with customers
  • Feedback and give suggestions for team and customers in technical terms
  • Working closely with Professional service teams for Kick-off meetings and Implementing phase.

Your ideal profile:

  • A strong individual contributor with intellectual curiosity to positively impact accounts and opportunities and proven ability to manage multiple projects, programs, and processes.
  • Capability to gather business needs and present a value-based, compelling software demonstration
  • Hands on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies,
  • 3 years of related work experience (Pre-Sales or/and Technical Consultant role preferably from SaaS company)
  • 1-2 years of experience in any programming language
  • Solid knowledge of IT solutions
  • Excellent in English communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills. Additional European language is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
